Our Journey
WELL ‘N WELL started in 2018, not as a business plan, but from real life.
Founder Andile Sasanti was trying to take care of his mother, blending vegetables, learning as he went, doing what he could with what he had. That journey pushed him to explore more deeply, and learned from online webinars on how to make fermented products through Katlehong library’s free internet which led him into fermentation and eventually making yoghurt and he started with dairy.
But everything changed when his niece was hospitalised after long-term consumption of dairy-based foods and nearly lost her life. By God’s grace, she survived, but from that moment, her mother, Noxolo, had to rethink what she eats every single day.
That’s when it became clear, something as simple as everyday food is not simple for everyone.
WELL ‘N WELL exists for people like her, for anyone who has ever felt excluded from what’s considered “normal.” The brand creates dairy-free products that don’t feel like a compromise, but a natural, everyday choice.
Because this is bigger than yoghurt. It’s about making sure no one feels left out of everydayconsumption.
